Since 1983, we have blended biblical scholarship, spiritual formation, and practical ministry so that learning becomes living. Our campus draws students from across India and beyond, forming a community committed to faith, service, and the Great Commission.

How SIBBC&S started
South India Baptist Bible College & Seminary began with a burden the Lord placed on Dr. Cherian to train men and women for Gospel ministry across India. He and his wife, Thankamma, spent a year in prayer, seeking God’s direction, and sensed a clear call to establish a place that would equip faithful servants of Christ. God confirmed this calling through "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert" . In 1983, the college opened with just seven students and two faculty members. From those small beginnings, SIBBC&S has grown into a seminary dedicated to preparing men and women to serve with conviction, humility, and a deep commitment to the Great Commission.
